Kent Youngstrom is a self-taught, full-time artist whose journey to art was unexpected. Initially aspiring to be a professional athlete, he discovered painting during college and later pursued it out of necessity. After moving to Charlotte and facing financial challenges, he began creating art in his garage, eventually selling pieces and securing a licensing deal with CB2. Known for his bold, abstract style that merges color, texture, and words, Youngstrom's work reflects his personality and passion. Today, he shares his love for art by teaching workshops, encouraging students to let go and embrace creative freedom.
